When you start writing, don’t stop. Don’t ever stop. Even taking breaks is dangerous.
There are thieves waiting to steal your passion from you.
Time. Work. School. Life.
If you let them, they will dry up the fount of words springing from your soul.
If you’re careful, you can use them.
My darling girl, she smiled at me today, and I saw a million words.
Whole worlds took shape in my mind. Stories played themselves out in the curves of her lips, and the creases of her eyelids.
But careful, tread lightly here.
Don’t make an idol of expression. Lest it steal away your soul
The moments, those are after all, all we have in the end.
If you start writing, don’t stop, don’t ever stop.
Write odysseys in your mind, use words to paint brilliant pictures of sunsets and passion and heartbreak
And the occasional far off castles in distant lands with raven haired princesses and Heavenly Princes of Peace
Your loves will thank you for it.
